The Heather Frey Family - Heather's Story
Heather Frey is a Licensed Professional Counselor at Community Counseling Associates in Allen, TX.
In June of 2021, Heather and her family (husband and 1.5 year old daughter) lost everything in a house fire due to a lightning strike. Their family had to start completely over after a total devastation and without being able to salvage anything. They have since been in a rental home and are progressively working on rebuilding their permanent home.
Unfortunately though, the loss didn’t end there. Heather found out she was pregnant in November 2021 as the two had been trying for a second child.
By the end of November, Heather was dealing with an ectopic (tubal) pregnancy and would lose this child. With no health insurance, and multiple visits to her OB and the ER over the span of a month due to severe bouts of pain and doctors alternative attempts to rid Heather of the pregnancy without surgery, Heather finally had to have her right tube removed in surgery on Christmas week as it was rupturing.
Lastly, just a few days prior to her surgery, Heather’s husband found out that the company he had been working for was closing its doors at the end of the year. So, after December 31st, their family will have thousands of dollars in medical bills, a husband out of work, a 2 year old to provide for, and Heather just working part time.
They are strong believers in God and holding onto their faith that things will start to look up for them and that God will restore them and bring goodness out of tragedy. They are also human though and have dealt with a lot of pain and stress financially, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

We are believing for better things to come in 2022, but wanted to give you the chance to encourage this family and invest in Heather's ministry focused on hurting teens and young adults.
